From 2000 until 2002 he was Deputy Burgomaster of the Municipality Walferdange. He has been Burgomaster of the Municipality Walferdange since 2003. Since 2013 he has been member of the Democratic Group, member of the Regulation Commission, a member of the Commission on Intern Affairs, member of the Commission on Housing and member of the Legal Commission. He was a member of the Commission on Economy from December 2013 until March 2014.
