Henk Beckers was born on the 30th of May 1944 in Mheer, the Netherlands. He is a member of the Dutch Senate on behalf of the People’s party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD).

Political Career[edit]

He was a member of the main Board of the VVD from 1983 till 1986. He was also a Board member of different private and public institutions.

Education[edit]

Beckers studied sociology at the University of Utrecht from 1965 until 1967, although he left before he completed it. He also studied notary law from 1966 until 1974 at the University of Nijmegen.
