Roberto Battelli

Roberto Battelli (born October 19, 1954) is a member of Slovenian National Assembly and a member Italian and Hungarian National Communities Deputy Group (IMNS).

Political career

Since 2002, he has been a representative of the Italian national community in the Slovenian National Assembly. In 1992, he became a member of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly where he has been especially active in election observation. In 2009, he was elected Treasurer of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and re-elected in 2011 and 2013. He has held a position of the OSCE PA's Special Representative on South East Europe since 2006.
