Nine Kooiman was born on the 9th of December 1980 in Vleuten-de Meern. She is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the Socialist Party (SP).

Political career[edit]

Before her political career, she was a youth worker and carer. Between 2008 and 2010 she worked for the SP fraction in the House of Representatives in the field of child care.

Education[edit]

Between 1999 and 2003, she studied social work and services at Hogeschool de Horst.
