Astrid Oosenbrug was born on the 6th of July 1968 in Rotterdam. She is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the Labour Party (PvdA).

Political career[edit]

Before her political career, she worked for different internet and media companies. Between 2010 and 2012 she was a member of the municipal council of Lansingerland. Since 2011 she has been a staff member of the Labour's Party 'Gay Emancipation Network' (Homo Emancipatie Netwerk) and Women in the Labour Party (Vrouwen in de Partij van de Arbeid).

Education[edit]

Oosenbrug completed lower general secondary education, although she did not graduate.
