Eric Kabera is a Rwandan journalist, filmmaker and the founder and president of The Rwanda Cinema Center.

He became famous after shooting the first film about the Rwandan genocide in 2001 in collaboration with the British filmmaker Nick Hughes. “100 days”, a first feature film about the genocide was followed by documentary titled “Keepers of Memory” in which he interviewed victims and perpetrators of the genocide.
