Frédéric Daerden (Montegnée, 11 January 1970) is a Belgian politician and member of the French-speaking Socialist Party.

Political career[edit]

Daerden is the mayor of Herstal since 2006 and member of the European Parliament since 2009. In 2014 Daerden he was elected Member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives and left the European Parliament.

Education[edit]

Daerden studied Economy and Finance and the University de Liège.
