Juan Antonio de las Heras Muela born in Sigüenza (Guadalajara, Castilla la Mancha) on the 5th February 1957, is a Spanish senator for the constituency of Guadalajara for the 10th term. He is a member of the People’s Party (PP).

Political Career

Juan Antonio de las Heras Muela was elected as senator for the first time in the current term (10th). During the current term, he is the acting first vice-president for the Budget Commission. He is also member of the Public Administrations and Finances Commission and of the Joint Committee for the relations with the Court of Auditors. Before becoming a senator he was also a councillor in the municipality of Sigüenza and regional deputy in Guadalajara. Inside the Party, Juan Antonio de la Heras Muela has been treasurer, general secretary and vice-president of the People’s Party of Guadalajara.

Education

The senator Juan Antonio de las Heras Muela holds a degree in Business and Economic Sciences. He was also a General Administration Manager of the local level and a career civil servant.
