Vera Bergkamp is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the Democrats 66 (D66). She was born in Amsterdam on June 1st, 1971.

Political Career

Vera Bergkamp was the chairman of COC Netherlands, which is an advocacy group for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgenders, form June 2010 till June 2012. She was a member of the council of the Amsterdam district from March 2010 till September 2012. Vera Bergkamp has been a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the D66 from September 20th, 2012. She focuses on nursing care, welfare (youth, drugs and alcohol) and culture.

Education

Bergkamp did HBO Personnel and Labour at the Hogeschool of Amsterdam from 1990 till 1994. Vera Bergkamp did a degree Public Administration/ Political science (direction organization and management) from the Free University in Amsterdam from 1994 till 1996.
