Introduction

Adele Gambaro is a member of the Italian Senate.

Political Career

Born in 1964 in Genova and graduated in Political Science in Paris, she was elected in the Emilia Romagna region for the “Movimento 5 Stelle” in 2013 after working as a business consultant. Later that year she switched to the mixed group after an internal break with her party. She has been a member of the permanent commission for foreign affairs, and emigration, and actually she is part of the permanent commission for Industry, commerce and tourism. She is also the representative at the Council of Europe’s General Assembly. Adele has always stood in favour of sustainable economy, supporting initiatives that introduce green alternatives in Italy.
