Alberto Antonio Guani Amarilla is the current Ambassador of Uruguay to Germany and a Uruguayan diplomat.

Biography[edit]

From March 1989, he took his first position for the Uruguayan foreign office in East Berlin. He was later promoted to head of protocol at the Uruguayan Foreign Office in Rio de Janeiro. In 2012 Amarilla took up his current post as the Ambassador of Uruguay to Germany, based in Berlin.

Education[edit]

Amarilla studied international relations in Uruguay, graduating in 1987.
