Alen Prelec was born on July 27, 1967 in Zdenci Brdovečki, near Zaprešić. He is a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski Sabor) and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP; Croatian: Socijaldemokratska partija Hrvatske).

Political Career

In July 2013, he became a member of the Croatian Parliament as a substitute to Tonino Picula.

Education

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb (Vocational College: Economist).
