Alen Prelec

Alen Prelec was born on July 27, 1967 in Zdenci Brdovečki, near Zaprešić. He has been a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski Sabor) and is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP; Croatian: Socijaldemokratska partija Hrvatske).

Political Career[edit]

His term of office began on 12 July 2013 as Tonino Picula's substitute. His parliamentary functions consist of being a member of the Finance and Central Budget Committee, the War Veterans Committee, and the Credentials and Privileges Commission.

Education[edit]

Prelec graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb (a two-year post secondary school education) as an economist.
