Andrzej Rozenek - (born on 17th March 1989 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish journalist specializing in the military and security. He is also a member of Parliament (VII cadency).

Political Career

Since 1993 he was associated with Socjaldemokracja Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej (the Polish Social Democracy). Then he was a member of Polska Partia Socjalistyczna (the Polish Socialist Party) and Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej (the Democratic Left Alliance). In the parliamentary elections in 2011, he obtained a mandate from the list of Ruch Palikota (Palikot's Movement). In 2011 Rozenek was chosen as the spokesperson for the Ruch Palikota parliamentary caucus, which in October 2013 was converted into Twój Ruch (Your Movement). Andrew Rozenek became a member of the board of the new party.

Education

In 1988 he graduated from Antoni Dobiszewski's High School XLIV in Warsaw, then he began studies at the University of Warsaw (studies which he did not complete). During his studies, Rozenek worked in the Polish Students' Association and presided over the council of the university and served on the board of ZSP. In 1992-1993 he was chief executive officer of ABKiSz Alma-Art, the main organizer of the festival FAMA, as well as being an editor of the student journal "Na Przekór". In 1997 he began working in the "NO" magazine, from 1999 onwards, as an investigative journalist. From 2006 to 2011 he served as deputy editor-in-chief of this magazine. He was vice-chairman of the National Polish-German Club and a member of the Association of Ordynacka.
