Antonio Azzollini has served the Italian Parliament as Senator representing the region Puglia since 2013. He is a member of the New Centre-Right political party. Antonio Azzollini was born in Molfetta, Puglia, on May 30th 1953.

Political Career

He was appointed as Senator for the first time in 1996, when he belonged to the Forza Italia party, for the second time in 2001, when he was President of the 5th Permanent Commission on Balance and Economic Planning, for the third time in 2006 and for the fourth time in 2008. During his time as a Mayor of his hometown Molfetta (2006-2008) he allocated several funds to the reconstruction of the city's harbour. He was appointed as Senator for the fifth time in 2013 and he has been appointed for the second time as President of the 5th Permanent Commission on Balance and Economic Planning.

Education

He holds a degree in Law.
