Cajus Caesar

Cajus Caesar, born on the 22nd of January 1951 in Rinteln is a German politician of the Bundestag and a member of the CDU/CSU party.

Political career[edit]

Cajus Caesar has been a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 1969. From 1980 until 1984 he was the local chairman of the JU Kalletal and later became the local government association chairman of the CDU Kalletal from 1985 until 1990. Since 1990 he has been the district chairman of the CDU Lippe and since 1992 he has been the district board member of the CDU East-Westphalia in Lippe. From 1980 until 1999 he has been a member of the municipal group Kalletal, from 1984 until 1999 a member of the Lippe district assembly, including chairman of the environmental committee and vice chairman. He furthermore served as a member of the regional association of Westphalia-Lippe in Münster from 1986 until 1999 where he was amongst others member of the personnel and culture committee, as well as environmental spokesman and deputy chairman of the CDU. In the year 2000 he got medalled as the Freiherr-von-Stein. From 1999 until 2005 he was a member of the association meeting of the national association of Lippe where he became the chairman of the CDU branch from 1998 until 2005. He finally became a member of the German Bundestag for the CDU in 2007, and served as a member of parliament for the CDU for the constituency Lippe I (135) from 2007 until 2009 and again from 2011 onwards.

Education[edit]

After finishing high school in Rinteln he attended the National Forest school in Arnsberg from 1969 until 1971 where he assessed higher education in forest management. From 1971 until 1974 he served as a district ranger candidate followed by him running the forestry district Lage from 1974 until 1978. He was in the national forest association of the district of Lippe from 1978 until 1980 and later became the leader of the forestry district of Kirchberg until 1998. In 2006 he took over the project supervision and the forest management of the forestry district of Lippe.
