Canada Council (The Canada Council for the Arts)

A Crown Corporation created in 1957, whose main priority is to promote the study, enjoyment, and production of art-based projects in Canada. In addition to providing grants and endowments, The Council undertakes research, communication, and promotion activities to support the work of celebrated artists and arts organizations in the country.
