Christos Mantas was born in Ioannina in 1957. He is a Greek politician and psychiatrist.
Political Career[edit]
Politically active on the left wing since 1974 as a member of KNE(communist youth of Greece) and KKE (communist party of Greece) and later became a member of SYNASPISMOS. He was the president of the Union of Hospital Doctors of Epirus, member of the council of the Prefecture of Ioannina, and is currently a member of the City Council of Ioannina. He is also active in social solidarity initiatives.
Education Career[edit]
He has a degree in Medicine from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Psychiatry. Moreover he achieved a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina.
