The company has more subsidiaries, like Mercedes-Benz Cars, Daimler Trucks, Mercedes-Benz Vans, Daimler Buses and Daimler Financial Services. Dailer is the biggest producer of premium cars and of commercial vehicles. Daimler Financal Services offers financing, leasing and insurance. The founders of the company were Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz in 1886. The company focuses on innovative and green technologies as well as on safe and superior automobiles. Daimler sells its automobiles all around the world and factories of the company can be found on all five continents. The company is listed on the stock market in Frankfurt and Stuttgart. In 2013 the company sold 2,343,623 vehicles, and had a total revenue of 118 billion dollars. The company is owned by European, U.S. and other investors, circulating around one billion shares. The Board of Management consists of 7 members.

=== Activities in the field of Humanitarian Aid ===

Daimler has been the partner of the German Aids Foundation since 1991. Every year since 2008, Daimler has supported the foundation´s opera event. This year the gala will take place in the Deutsche Oper Berlin. The company offers shuttle services for the guests in their Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
In 2008 there was a concert in London in honor of Nelson Mandela´s 90th birthday. More than 1 billion people watched this concert through TV screens, where the biggest singers were performing. As the main sponsor, Daimler donated a Mercedes-Benz C 350, signed by stars such as Will Smith or Leona Lewis, that was later auctioned off. The money was given to Nelson Mandela´s foundation against AIDS.
Daimler also opened training centres all over the world to develop the local economies and provide opportunities for the youth to develop their skills. It takes place in Mongolia, Afghanistan, Russia and etc.
