Emiliano was born in Toledo ( Spain),June 11th 1968, On February 25th 2012 he was elected Secretary General of the PSOE in Castilla-La Mancha.

Political Career[edit]

Councilman Hon. City of Toledo (1987 - 1991) Deputy Mayor Hon. City of Toledo, having also played the Municipal Delegations of Celebration, Youth and Finance. (1991 - 1993)

- Provincial Secretary of the PSOE in Toledo, from July 1th 1997.

- Chief Spokesman of Castilla-La Mancha from September 1th 1993 until July 1997, when he was appointed Director of Public Works.

- On March 24th, 1998 Speaker takes over as Advisor to the Government of Castilla-La Mancha.

- From July 1999 to March 2000 he was Minister for Social Welfare, occupation ceases to be President of the Socialist Group in the Castilla-La Mancha.

- From February 2001 to April 2004 he was Director of the Government Spokesperson of Castilla-La Mancha.

- From May 2004 to September 2005 he served as Director of Institutional Relations of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.

- In September 2005 he became the Second Vice President of the Board, again assuming the functions of regional government spokesman until 2007.

- The local assembly of the PSOE in Toledo chose the January 31th, 2007 unanimously candidate for mayor of this city, a position he currently holds following the municipal elections of 22th May 2011, in which he became the first socialist mayor that validates the position and achieve the best result in the history of this game in the Castilian-Manchego capital.

- Since September 16th, 2011 is a senator appointed by the Castilla-La Mancha.

- On February 25th, 2012 he was elected Secretary General of the PSOE in Castilla-La Mancha.
