Franco Cardiello

Franco Cardiello was born on January 1st, 1957 in Eboli (Salerno). He has residency in Eboli.

Political Career

In the XII Legislature Cardiello was a component of parliament commission of defence from 1994 until 1996. During the XIII Legislature he was included in the 14th Permanent Commission of European Union Policies. From 2001 to 2006 he was part of the Parliamentary group “Alleanza Nazionale” (XIV Legislature) and along this period he was part of different parliamentary office as secretary of 2nd commission of Justice.

In the XVI Legislature Cardiello was a member of the parliamentary group “Popolo delle Libertà” and consequently member of “Coesione Nazionale”. From 2012 to 2013 he was part of the Permanent Commission of Justice, Finance and Treasury, Industry and Trade, Policy of European Union, Promotion of Human Rights, Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the Mafia and other criminal organizations. During the XVII Cardiello was part of the Parliamentary group “ Popolo delle Libertà”. He was in the 2nd Standing Committee of Justice; in the Commission of Inquiry on accidents at work and part of the Parliamentary Commission for the Simplification.

Education

Franco Cardiello is a penalist lawyer and worked in the cassation.
