Marios Garoyian was born in Nicosia in 1961. He is a Greek/Cypriot politician and scientist.
Political Career
Marios Garoyian is a representative of Nicosia constituency under the banner of DIKO since 2006. He served as Director of the President’s Office of the House of Representatives for the period 1991-2001, as Director of the Press Office of the President of the Republic and Deputy Government Spokesman between 2003-2006. He also serves as Member of the DIKO Central Committee since 1988, as Member of the DIKO Executive Bureau since 1997. Last but not least he served as President of DIKO for the period 2006-2013.
Education
Marios Garoyian Political Science (University of Perugia, Italy) with specialisation in History and International Affairs. He speaks English,Italian and Spanish.
