Introduction

Giacomo Stucchi was born on 20th February 1969 in Bergamo, Italy. He works as a consultant and journalist. He was appointed during the XIII, XIV, XV and XVI Chamber Legislature and, successively, XVII Senate Legislature. From March 2013 to June 2014, he was engaged as Senate Presidency Secretary.

Political career

Giacomo Stucchi is a member of the “Lega Nord e Autonomie” party, that he joined in March 2013. Additionally, he is a member of the Third Permanent Commission for Foreign Affairs and Emigration, member of the Fifth Permanent Commission for State Budget, member of the Seventh Permanent Commission for Public Instruction and Cultural Heritage, as well as member of the Fourteenth Permanent Commission for European Union Politics. Finally, Giacomo Stucchi is also president of the Parliamentary Committee for the Republic’s Security.
