Gian Marco Centinaio (born in Pavia on October 31st 1971) is an Italian politician. He is a member of the Lega Nord political party.

Political Career

In 2005 he was elected Municipal Councillor in his hometown. From 2009 until 2013, he was Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Tourism and Culture of the Municipality of Pavia. He was a candidate for the Senate in Lombardy with Lega Nord party and was elected Senator in February 2013. As a Senator, he is also a member of the 7th Permanent Commission on Public Education and Social Security.

Education

He obtained a degree in Political Science from University of Pavia in 1999. He has then worked as a bank employee, sales marketing representative and manager.
