Igor Dragovan

Igor Dragovan was born on 4 July 1968 in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP; Croatian: Socijaldemokratska partija Hrvatske) and has been a member of the Croatian Parliament during its sixth and seventh term.

Political Career

Dragovan's second mandate in the Croatian Parliament began on 22 December 2011. He is a chairperson of the National Council for Water, a deputy chairperson of the Domestic Policy and National Security Committee, a member of the Foreign Policy Committee. He is also a member of the Defence Committee, a member of the Interparliamentary Co-operation Committee, a member of the Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the NATO, and a chairperson of the Deputy Club of the Social Democratic Party. During his previous mandate he was a chairperson of the Petitions and Appeals Committee, a member of the Domestic Policy and National Security Committee, and a member of the Agriculture, Fishing and Rural Development Committee.

Education

Dragovan obtained his Mathematician qualification from the General-Education Secondary School in Slavonski Brod, Croatia.
