Ilija Filipović

Ilija Filipović was born on 22 July 1949 in Strošinci, Croatia. He is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ; Croatian: Hrvatska demokratska zajednica) and is a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor).

Political Career

Filipović's mandate in the Croatian Parliament began on 22 December 2011. He is a member of the Committee on the Constitution, Standing Orders and Political System, a member of the Judiciary Committee, a member of the Committee on Croats outside the Republic of Croatia, and a member of the Petitions and Appeals Committee. Previously, he was a member of the Interparliamentary Co-operation Committee.

Education

Filipović graduated from the Faculty of Law in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
