Lidija Bagarić was born on July 27, 1976 in Požega, Croatia. She was a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski Sabor) and still is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP; Croatian: Socijaldemokratska partija Hrvatske).

Political Career

Her mandate at the 7th Assembly of the Croatian Parliament started in December, 2011 as a deputy representative Zeljko Jovanovic, and her mandate ended in June, 2014 when an elected representative Zeljko Jovanovic returned to his parliamentary duties. During her mandate she was a member of the Administrative Affairs Committee, the Tourism Committee, and the Committee for Education, Science and Culture.

Education

She graduated from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, Croatia, where she obtained her Master's degree as a Master of Science in Economics. Bagarić got her PhD degree at the same faculty becoming a Doctor of Economics.
