Introduction

Luis Alberto Orellana is a member of the Italian Senate for the 17th legislature.

Political Career

Born in 1961 in Caracas (Venezuela) Luis Alberto has an Italian mother and through her, the Italian citizenship. He moved to Italy at the age of thirteen and graduated in Information Technology at the University of Pavia he was elected in the Lombardia region for the “Movimento 5 Stelle” in 2013 and works in the mixed group. Throughout his political carrier he has been a member of the permanent commission for European Union’s Policies, and actually he is part of the permanent commission for foreign affairs and emigration and the Italian represent at the UE Council . Luis Alberto Orellana stands primarily against privileges of politicians and fights to reduce political costs in Italy, and actively contrast ‘ndrangheta infiltration in Pavia.
