Maria Teresa Bertuzzi has served the Italian Parliament as Senator representing the region Emilia Romagna since 2013. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

Maria Teresa Bertuzzi was born in Copparo, Emilia Romagna, on August 26th 1961.

Political Career

She was appointed as Senator for the first time after the February 2013 elections. As a Senator, she is also a member of the 3rd Permanent Commission on Foreign Affairs and Immigration and a member of the 9th Permanent Commission on Agriculture.

Education

Maria Teresa Bertuzzi obtained her degree in Economics from University of Bologna in 1986 and then worked as a high school teacher of Business Economics until 2004.
