Milada Emmerova

Milada Emmerova was born on November 4, 1944, in Plzen. She is a Czech doctor and politician Social Democrats from the 90s of the 20th century Member of the Chamber of Deputies. In 2004-2005 she was the Minister of Health, from November 2008 to September 2010 the Governor of the Pilsen region and from 2012 Senator for Senate district Rokycany.

Education

In 1967 she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen. Since 1967 she has been working as a doctor at the University Hospital in Pilsen.

Political career

She has been a member of the Social Democrats since 1994. In 1996 she was elected a Member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, she held the post until 2004. In the period 2004-2005 she was the Minister of Health. Between 2005-2006 she held the post of Deputy Director of the University Hospital Pilsen for education and contact with Medical Faculty of the CHarles University.
