Ondřej Benešík

Ondřej Benešík (born on the 27th June 1976) is a Czech politician. He has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies Parliament of Czech Republic since 26. 10. 2013. He was elected to the KDU party.

Education

He studied English and German at the Academy of J.A. Comenius in Uherske Hradiste between 1994 and 1996 and Business Studies at the European Polytechnic Institute in Kunovice between 1996 and 1999. He completed his education in European politics studies at the Faculty of Social Science at Masaryk University (graduated in 2010 and got his Mgr.).

Political career

Ondřej Benešík has been a member on the Committee on European Affairs since 12. 12. 2013 and the Committee on European Affairs chairman, since 19. 12. 2013. Mr. Benešík has been also a member of Podvybor pro evropske fondy a preshranicni spolupraci since 17. 4. 2014 and Podvybor pro evropske fondy a preshranicni spolupraci since 7. 5. 2014. He has also been a member of the Permanent Delegation to the Parliament, Assembly of the Council of Europe since 12. 12. 2013 and member of Permanent Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE since 13. 2. 2014. He has been a member of the Political Group of the Christian and Democratic Union - Czechoslovak People's Party since 31. 10. 2013.
