Pietro Iurlaro, born in Francavilla Fontana, Puglia, on March 27th 1961, has served the Italian Parliament as Senator representing the region Puglia since 2013.

Political Career

Member of Forza Italia political party, he is City Councilman in Francavilla Fontana and Councillor of Puglia region. In 2013 Pietro Iurlaro was elected senator of the XVII Legislature of the Italian Republic in the constituency of Puglia in Forza Italia-Popolo della Libertà political group. As a Senator, he was appointed member of the 13th Permanent Commission on Territory and Environment. He is also member of the Parliamentary Commission on Regional Affairs, as well as member of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on illegal activities related to the waste cycle and on environmental crimes related to them.
