Regina Doherty was born January 1971, in Dublin, Ireland.

Political Career

Regina Doherty is a Irish Fine Gael politician. She was elected as a Teachta Dala for the Meath East Constituency at the 2011 general election. From 2009 and 2011 she was member of Meath County Council for the Dunshaughlin electoral area. She was previously the Chairperson of Meath’s Joint Policing Committee and sat on the board of three educational insitutions; Meath VEC, Ratoath College and Gaelscoil na Mi, and moreover sitting on the Special Education Committee of the National Parents’ Council.

Regina Doherty is a Member of Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health & Children, a member of Joint Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure & Reform and a Member of the Constitutional Convention.

Education

Regina Doherty was educated at the St Marys Glasnevin in Dublin and at the Collage of Marketing & Design in Dublin.
