Sébastian Pirlot was born on August 29th 1971 in Saint-Mard (Belgium). He is a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the French-speaking Socialist Party (PS) and he is mayor of Chiny.

Political Career

Sébastian Pirlot has been regional president of the PS in the province of Luxemburg since 1997. In 2000, he got elected as a councillor in Chiny, and became first alderman of the city. After regional elections in 2004, he won a seat in the Walloon Parliament and in the Parliament of the French Community, where he stayed until 2014. In 2006, after the local elections, he got back into the council of Chiny, and later that year, he became mayor of the city. He has been a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the French-speaking Socialist Party (PS) since May 25th 2014.

Education

He graduated in law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
