Sadet Karabulut (SP) Member of the Dutch House of Representatives

Sadet Karabulut (born on April 28th, 1975 in Dordrecht) is a member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the Socialist Party (SP).

Political Career[edit]

Sadet Karabulut is a Dutch politician and former civil servant and trade unionist of Kurdish descent. From March to November 2006 Karabulut was a member of the municipal council of Amsterdam. She has been the Member of Representatives for the SP since November 30th, 2006. From January 11th till April 14th, 2011 she took maternity leave and was therefore replaced by Rik Janssen. She focuses on matters of social affairs (reducing poverty, social assistance, purchasing power and child benefit), emancipation and social integration.

Education[edit]

Karabulut studied public administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
