Andrzej Dera was born on 10th September 1961 in Ostrów Wielkopolski. He is a Polish politician, lawyer and member of Parliament since 2005 (V,VI,VII cadency).

==  Political Career  ==
Andrzej Dera worked in the Committee of Citizens 'Solidarity' between 1990 and 1991.In 1991-1993 he belonged to the Center Alliance, from 1996 to 1999 for Christian-National Union, in 1999-2001 the AWS Social Movement, from 2001 to 2011 worked in Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice), and in 2012 he sat on the board of the newly formed party Solidary Poland (he was also the Secretary General). 
By 1998 he was employed in local government administration. In 1999-2002 he was governor of Ostrow. Later he worked in a private group. From 1998 to 2005, served on the board of the county. 
In 2005, he was elected as a Member of the V term in the district of Kalisz. In the parliamentary elections in 2007, the second time for a seat in the parliament. From 10 July 2007 to 4 November 2007 he was a member of the Public Service of the Prime Minister. In the sixth term of the Sejm became a member of the Commission of Inquiry to investigate the circumstances of the kidnapping and murder of Krzysztof Olewnik. In the elections to the Parliament in 2011 successfully ran for re-election.. In the Sejm seventh term proceeded to parliamentary caucus Solidary Poland (after its collapse in 2014 sat in a circle SP). He was a candidate for the European Parliament in 2014. In July 2014 he sat in the club Deputies Sprawiedliwa Polska (Fair Poland).

==  Education  ==
In 1987 he graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. He made Faculty of Law and Administration and finished as Master of Law in 1987.
