*Member of the Central Committee of SK EDEK/Social Democrats Movement (KISOS)/KS EDEK since 1990 and of the Movement’s Political Bureau since 1999. 
*Head of the KISOS/KS EDEK Committee on Equality, the Family and the Child since 2000.
*Member of the Committee on Equal Opportunities of the Party of European Socialists (PES) since 2000.
*Member of the board of the Cyprus Gender Equality Observatory since 2005.
