In the position of Deputy Mayor she was primarily focused on the fields of culture, education and social policy. In 2006 and 2012, she won the second round of elections to the Senate in Prostejov district. As a senator she focuses on the work of the Committee for Health and Social Policy and The Commission for Rural Development.
