José Zaragoza Alonso, born 12 September 1961 in Molins de Rei (Barcelona), Cataluña, is a member of the Spanish Chamber of Deputies representing the Spanish province of Barcelona. Zaragoza Alonso is a member of the Spanish Socialist Worker’s Party, Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE) and he is a member of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Grupo Socialista (GS) within the Chamber of Deputies.

Zaragoza Alonso has been an MP for Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) from Barcelona for one term, since 2011. He has also been coordinator of the Secretary of Local Policy and coordinator of the Organization of the Catalan branch of the PSOE. From 1983 until 1991, he was councillor of Molins de Rei (Catalonia). Furthermore, Zaragoza Alonso was Prime Secretary of the Federación del Baix Llobregat from 1988 until 2004. From 1987 to 1997 he was member of the Federal Committee of the PSOE, and he went back to this position in 2009. José Zaragoza Alonso was director of the Electoral Campaign in the general elections of 2004 and 2008; in the local elections of 2006, 2007 and 2011; in the European Parliament elections of 2004 and 2009; in the Referendum of the European Constitution in 2005; and in the Catalan Statute in 2006.
Zaragoza Alonso has been an MP for the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) from Barcelona, Cataluña for one term, since 2011. From 2012 to 2013, José Zaragoza Alonso has occupied several charges; he was a member of the Permanent Deputation, a surrogate spokesman of the Board of Spokesmen and a member of the Joint Committee on Relations with the Ombudsman. Additionally, he was the Second Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Interior from January to Feberuary in 2012. Finally, from September to October 2013 he was a member of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Parliamentary Control of the Corporation of the Spanish Radio-Television, Radio Televisión Española (RTVE), and its subsidiaries. Nowadays, he is a member of the Committee on Interior, Committee on International Development and Cooperation and the Racing Rules Committee. In addition, he is a deputy spokesperson of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Parliamentary Control of the Corporation of the Spanish Radio-Television, Radio Televisión Española (RTVE), and its subsidiaries.
