In addition, she has also held different positions within the People's Party since the 1990s such as a Vice-Councillor at the Community of Madrid's Presidency (1995-1999), Senator (1999-2003), Vice-Councillor of Employment and Women at the Community of Madrid (2005-2008), and Secretary of the General Committee of Madrid's Assembly (2003-2005).
