From 19. March to 9. December 2013 he was member of the “Scelta Civica per l’Italia” party, which took the name “Per l’Italia” in November 2013. Successively, the party’s name became “Scelta Civica con Monti per l’Italia” to switch back to “Scelta Civica per l’Italia”, that Mario Monti is still a member of.
