Graduating from the American College of Switzerland Espinoza went on to become the Chairman and manage of the company Citimex AG before making a move into politics and become an adviser in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998. From 1999-2007 he served as an adviser at the Embassy of Honduras in the US.
