Sauli Ahvenjärvi is a member of the parliament for the constituency of Satakunta. He is in the Christian Democratic Party and has been in office since 2011.
Political Career
Sauli Ahvenjärvi has been in the Christian Democratic Parliamentary group since 2011 and has also been a Grand Committee deputy member since 2011 aswell. He is also in the City Council for Rauma. In the 2014 election for the European Commision he was a candidate from the Christian Democraticts but he did not get enough votes.
Education
He attended the Tampere University of Technology where he obtained a Master of Science degree in Technology in 1982. He took his PhD at the same university in 2009.
