Patrik Kuncar was born on February 27, 1973 in Uherske Hradiste. He is a Czech politician and surveyor, from January 2014 senator for Zlin district. Since November 2010 he is the Mayor of Uhersky Brod, since 2006, Uhersky Brod town councilor and member of the KDU-CSL.

Education

He studied at the Technical University in Brno, but did not complete the study. He got a Bachelor's degree later on University of Jan Amos Komensky in Prague. He worked as an engineer and surveyor.

Political career

Patrik Kuncar is politically active since 2006, when he joined the Christian-Democratic party (KDU-CSL) and was elected in the municipal election of representatives of Uhersky Brod. He was re-elected in the subsequent elections in 2010, after which he also became the mayor of the city.
