Onintza Enbeita belongs to the political sphere of the nationalist left. She was elected to the Basque Parliament in the elections of 2005 and she was part of ANV candidates in the Provincial and Municipal Elections 2007. In this election she was elected municipal councillor for Muxika, occupying this position between 2007 and 2011.

In 2011 she was elected to the Spanish Parliament with the AMAIUR party.

Education[edit]

She has a degree in Journalism and Cultural Transmission. She has worked as a journalist in various media organisation in the Basque country such as Egunkaria newspapers, Berria and Matraka supplement. He has also worked as a teacher of Basque in the Labayru Institute, a cultural foundation dedicated to promoting Basque culture.
