Igor Jakubcik was born on May the 12th, 1967, in Klatovy. He is a Czech politician, and from January 2013 to August 2013 he was a Member of the Chamber of Deputies, and since 2012 he has been the Pilsen Region councillor. He is a member of the Social Democrats.
Education
After attending grammar school in Klatovy he graduated in economics and management from the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague.
Political career
In 1998 he joined the Social Democrats. From 2004 to 2006 he was a councillor in the Klatovy council. From 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the Commission for the Council of the Pilsen Region for economic development and employment. In 2010 he successfully ran for city council Klatovy.
