Katarina Barley is a German politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
Political Career
Barley was a Member of the Schweich City Council from 2005 and 2011. She is currently a Member of the federation council in Schweich. She has been a Member of the SPD district department in Trier-Saarburg since 2005. She has been the since the SPD district chairman since 2010.
Education
Barley studied law in Marburg and Paris. She obtained Diplôme de Droit Franςais while studying in France. In 1998, Barley obtained a Doctor of Laws in Münster.
