Education
He obtained a university degree and the license to practice Law.
Political career
He was elected to the Italian Chamber of Deputies in 2008, for the Italia dei Valori party. In 2008, he joined the Committee for Prosecution Proceedings and, from May to September, the Institutional Affairs Commission. From September 2008 to February 2011 he joined the European Policy Commission. From 2011 to 2012 he also served as a member of Public and Private Work Commission. After 2012, he left the Italia dei Valori parliamentary group and joined the mixed group in the Chamber of Deputies. From 2009 to 2013, he was a member of the parliamentary Commission for the Simplification and the Supervision and General Management of Broadcasting services. From 2012 to 2013 he joined the Transport, Post and Telecommunications Commission.
He was re-elected in 2013 with the Centro Democratico party, serving in the Legislative Committee and also as a member of the Italian delegation to the OSCE. He is currently part of the European Policy Commission.
