Igor Rađenović was born on 20 February 1971 in Zagreb, Croatia. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia (SDP; Croatian: Socijaldemokratska partija Hrvatske) and was a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor) during its seventh term.
