Kees de Lange (born on June 7th, 2011 in Zaandam) is the leader of the OSF-party (OSF-fractie) in the Dutch Senate. Furthermore, he is a professor of atomic stuff and laser physics at the Free University of Amsterdam.

De Lange was the chairman of the Nederlandse Bond voor Pensioenbelangen (NBP). He was co-founder of the 50Plus and in 2010 the vice-president of the party. As a member of 50Plus De Lange was initially for the elections of the Senate in 2011 selectable to a second place on the list of candidates for his party. Education
Kees de Lange studies mathematics and physics (specialization Experimental physics with mathematics and electronics) at the University of Amsterdam from 1960 until 1966.
